CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County
Jacqueline’s roots in South Bend/Mishawaka area run deep. She spent the first 10 years of her life here and then moved to the outskirts of Chicago, only to return to attend college at Notre Dame. A trip to Chile as a college student ignited her passion for serving others, and she returned and took a role fundraising for the Center for the Homeless, where she would meet her husband, Adam. Since then, she’s served in Development and Executive Director roles and on the boards for several nonprofits and foundations in the area, with one 18-month stint overseas in Cambodia. Her relationship with the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County began in 2011 as a volunteer as she mentored Club member, Laylaa, in the Youth of the Year competition. The mission quickly made its way into her heart and she subsequently joined the staff as the Director of Mission Advancement. She served in that capacity for four years, then switched to serving on the BGC board when she left to help run a small foundation part time after having her first child, and then returned as CEO of the organization in early 2020. This summer she begins the Masters of Nonprofit Administration program at Notre Dame. Jacqueline and Adam have four young children, and her family resides on the campus of La Lumiere boarding school in LaPorte, Indiana, where Adam serves as Head of School. Fiercely competitive and a lover of all sports, she’s an avid soccer and tennis player and last year coached the La Lumiere Girls Basketball Team to their first ever state championship. In her “spare time,” you can find her outside with her kids, most likely on the beach if possible, shooting hoops, or fishing. She loves sushi, Rod Stewart, March Madness, healthy debates, and dreaming big.
